Invigilator sexually assaults Class 10 student in Suryapet, held

A teacher sexually assaulted a Class 10 student on Wednesday here in Suryapet.

Getting into details, the teacher, Narasimha Swami who was posted as an invigilator for SSC exams took the victim to his home after the exam on the pretext of helping her in getting a good score in the exams. He then sexually assaulted the girl.

The student who managed to escape from him shared her ordeal with parents who lodged a complaint with the police. The police took the accused into custody. An investigation is underway.

Earlier in December, a school teacher was arrested by Gandhinagar police for raping a 14-year-old student for a year. The physcial education teacher identified as Suresh Goud raped the girl who was pursuing Class 8 in Bhoiguda government school in Secunderabad.
