Irkode village wins prestigious award

Siddipet: The constituency again hit the headlines at the national level. Irkode village received Deen Dayal Upadhyay Panchayat Swashakti Karan -2019. The village bagged a national award two years ago.

Siddipet MPDO Sammireddy received the award from Union Panchayat Raj Minister Narendra Singh Thomar in Delhi on Wednesday. The Siddipet rural village stood top among thousands of villages in the category of community development for the Swachhata Swashakti Karan-2019 Award. EGS officer Narsinga Rao was also present. A cash amount of Rs 8 lakh and a certificate of appreciation were presented.
