It was a thrilling experience, say new voters

Kothagudem: New voters in the district cast their votes in LoK Sabha elections in the district. The voters arrived at polling stations before 9 am and return after casting their votes.

They expressed happiness as they were casting their votes for the first time. As many as 68,344 new voters were enrolled in and around the district this year.

Speaking to the Hans India, new voters A Rekha and Alekhya said, "This is the first time we are casting the vote in the election. It was a thrilling experience.

We used to listen to the lectures about the votes now we are using our franchise. Another New Voter I Sindhu expressed her happiness after casting her vote in the election. She said knew the value of a vote.

She said a vote is a weapon in the democracy.
