ITC workers stage half-naked protest seeking enhanced wages in Kothagudem

Burgampahad (Kothagudem): The ITC Board workers staged a half-naked protest at the company's head office in Burgumpahad on Friday demanding the administration to implement 12th wage agreement.

During the protest, Joint Action Committee (JAC) president K Hari Prasad alleged the company management was dragging on the issue pertaining to the release of wages according to 12th wage agreement to the workers.

He said the recognised Union had failed to solve the workers issues. JAC leaders Nagabhushanam, Ramakoti Reddy, Sabeer, Maheswara Rao, Vijay Bhasker Reddy, Sarath, Chalapathi, Rafi and others took part in the protest.
