ITDA PO pitches for quality health service to people in Kothagudem
Kothagudem: Integrated Tribal Development Agency Project Officer VP Gowtham called upon the health officials to provide quality medical and health services to people in all government hospitals.
On Friday, he conducted a meeting with all health officers at the ITDA office.
Addressing the officials, the PO asked the ICDS, DRDA and health staff to work with coordination and make a list of number of pregnant women in the district.
He said the ICDS staff should cooperate with the health staff for improving the deliveries in the government hospitals. He gave suggestions regarding providing health services to the people in the agency villages.
The health staff should conduct awareness camps for the pregnant women, he suggested, besides educating people about seasonal and vector-borne diseases and measures to prevent them.
The PO also directed the health officers to prevent the malaria disease by distribution of mosquito nets to people besides taking other preventive measures. District Medical and Health Official L Bhasker, Additional DMHA Singha Raju and other officials attended the meeting.
