Its heinous to kill tahsildar: Mancherial Collector Bharathi Hollikeri

Mancherial: Killing Abdullapurmet Tahsildar Vijaya Reddy by burning her alive is heinous, said District Collector Bharathi Hollikeri.

She paid tributes by garlanding the picture of Vijaya Reddy at IB Chowrastha here on Wednesday and observed two minutes silence on the occasion.

She said that the government, IAS officer, Telangana Central Committee and others have condemned the incident.

There are several means to get justice, if anyone feels injustice done to them. But killing the officials is not solution and its monstrous, she observed.

Joint Collector Y Surender Rao, district revenue officer Rajeshwar, Rajanva mandal officer Suresh, district minority welfare officer Shyamala Devi, district treasury officer Saroja, tahsildars and other staff were present on the occasion.
