Jagga Reddy to support agitation by OU students

Hyderabad: Congress MLA T Jagga Reddy on Saturday said that his party would support the agitation of the Osmania University (OU) students, demanding that the government should implement all the resolutions passed with regard to the universities in the State.

Speaking to the media, he said that the students have played a key role in the Telangana movement.

People of Telangana remember the sacrifices made by the OU students, but the government has forgotten them, he lashed out at the ruling party.

He demanded the government to appoint regular vice-chancellors to the universities. All the vacancies in the universities should be filled immediately, the MLA said.
