Jagtial: Review on 30-day action plan

Jagtial: District Collector Dr A Sharath discussed the points, which Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao talked about at a recent meeting on the implementation of 30-days action plan for the development of villages, at a review meeting held here at IMA Hall on Monday with the officials concerned.

The Collector told the officials to take perfect steps for completing works like plantation, avenue plantation, watering, construction of dumping yard and burial ground along with establishment of nurseries in villages and monkey food courts.

He ordered the officials to remove unwanted plants that have been grown in villages and to maintain the surroundings neat and clean and sanitation works by cleaning the drainages regularly. He assigned works to the village staff.

Collector Sharath appreciated the officials of electricity department for fixing the current meters to all the streetlights present across the district and standing in top position in the State.

The Collector told them the appreciation he received from the CM for their efforts. Submit a report about the number of community soak pits, whose construction was completed in villages and how many are under progress and how many are still required.

Distribute dry and wet dustbins and check regularly whether people are using them properly or not. The officials were also told to install dustbins at important centres. Later, Collector Dr A Sharath distributed a tricycle to a disabled person Alakunta Rajaiah, resident of Mettupalli Sainagar Colony.

Joint Collector B Rajesham, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Srinivas, District Revenue Officer Aruna Sri and Rural Development Officer Narendar were present along with others.
