Jashn Music Programme mesmerises audience in Bagh Amberpet

Bagh Amberpet: The Jashn Music programme organised by the Uttara Centre for Performing Arts at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram here mesmerised the audience, with prominent singer Guruprasad Deshpande rendering old Bollywood melodies.

Singers Geeta Ganeshan, Rishika Venkatesh, Shivani, Sanjana, Manaswini and Nitva with their melodious numbers moved the audience. The music for the programme was provided by Sangeetsagar team members Ashok, Raju, Ramu and Nandulu.

Regional LIC Manager P Anjubabu was the chief guest, while NFDC deputy GM Ganesh lit the traditional lamp to launch the event. Addressing the gathering, they lauded the confluence of music and dance forms presented by the newly formed Angrang organisation. Founder-director of Centre for Performing Arts Geeta Ganeshan said the programme was organised to mark the launch of Angrang and with an aim to boost music and dance. She expressed happiness over holding the programme by Deshpande reflecting the culture of Indonesia and Indian cultures.
