J&K health officials visit Bhoodan Pochampally PHC

Bhoodan Pochampally (Yadadri- Bhongir): The officials of health department of Jammu and Kashmir State on Monday visited Primary Health Centre of Bhoodan Pochampally in the district to study the implementation of health services and schemes of Central and the State governments.

The team members enquired the about the various services being rendered to the patients and examined operation theatre and lab in the PHC . They also enquired about the health camps, vaccination and sanitation programmes being carried out in rural areas.

District Medical and Health Officer Sambashiva Rao explained them about the introduction of KCR Kits to increase the institutional deliveries in government hospitals in the State. He further explained them about the Kanti Velugu programme. The visiting officials appreciated the KCR Kits programme after seeing the items being supplied to both the mother and the newborn and financial aid under the scheme. They also enquired about the implementation of National Rural Health Mission programme in the district.

In this programme, Jammu and Kashmir State National Health Mission MD Bhupinar Kumar, health department directors Dr Kunjos Dolma, Samir Mattu, State nodal officers Mohammed Shafi, Vasim Akram, NHM Nalgonda and Yadadri-Bhongir districts project managers Uma Maheshwari and Madhavi, mandal health official Harsh and others participated.
