JNTU-Hyderabad asks colleges to commence functioning

Hyderabad: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTU-H) has asked all its constituent and affiliated colleges to commence functioning regularly without classwork. A university circular on Monday said that the State government has extended the lockdown till June 7, providing certain relaxations.

Against the backdrop, the university said that it has been decided to restore the functioning of the colleges and departments without class works. Accordingly, it asked all the principals of the constituent, affiliated colleges, including the autonomous and non -autonomous colleges, directors of all the units to function their units regularly.

Following this, all the teaching, non-teaching, contract and outsourcing staff are asked to attend the duty as per the normal procedure. However, they are asked to follow the directions of the government like wearing the masks and using sanitisation frequently. It has asked the principals and directors of all the colleges to monitor their office activities thoroughly as they have to function normally.
