Join army, serve country: MLA Govardhan

Kamareddy: Revealing that he wanted to join army to show patriotism, MLA Gampa Govardhan urged the youth to join the army. The youth were given training and a job in the army, he added. Urging the youth not to become prey for drugs, he told them to think about their parents before taking any bad step.

Along with Colonel Srinivas Rao, the MLA participated in the Army Recruitment Rally at Indira Gandhi Stadium here on Sunday morning. About 200 youth attended the training programme, which was given by Army Colonel Srinivas Rao and his team of 10 gym instructors.
