Justice RS Chauhan takes oath as Chief Justice of Telangana High Court

Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan on Saturday took oath as the chief justice of Telangana High Court in the presence of the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, High Court judges and lawyers.

Governor ESL Narasimhan administered the oath to Justice Raghavendra Singh. RS Chauhan who was the acting chief justice of the High Court was appointed as the Chief Justice by the Law ministry earlier this week. Chief minister KCR congratulated the new chief justice of the High Court by presenting a bouquet.

Lady Governor Vimala Narasimhan, Speaker P Srinivas Reddy, Ministers Md Mahmood Ali, V Srinivas Goud, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, A Indrakaran Reddy, MPs, MLAs, DGP Mahender Reddy, Judges of High Courts of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, several other officials were also present

Another judge Justice V Ramasubramanian from Telangana High Court was appointed chief justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court.
