Kacheguda Train Collision: Wach this CCTV footage how exactly the accident happened

It is a well-known fact that a major mishap took place at Kacheguda railway station premises in Hyderabad where a local train crushed the express train. As many as 16 passengers injured while the loco pilot is injured severely and rushed to the railway hospital and later shifted to multispeciality hospital for better treatment.

However, there were various reports from the railway officials on the accident. Yet, the CCTV footage surfaced in the media suggest that the accident occurred due to the signalling department failure. The footage shows the exact moment an MMTS train crashed the Hundry express train, while the two trains are moving towards each other the same track. With this collision, several bogies were lifted off the rails and derailed. SCR officials said six coaches of the MMTS train and three coaches of the Hundry Express were affected.

Despite the officials claim the accident to be due to the signal failure, later the MMTS loco pilot held guilty for the crash after a preliminary inquiry. Loco pilot L Chandrasekhar of Lingampally-Falaknuma MMTS train was trapped in the driver's cabin. After eight hours of efforts, the driver was rescued alive and brought the hospital

The injured are brought o Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad Off which, six of them were discharged. The official ordered a high-level enquiry into the incident.
