Kaleshwaram Project will irrigate 2 lakh acres in Sircilla: KTR
Hyderabad: TRS Working President K. Tarakarama Rao said that the works on 9th package of Kaleshwaram Project would be completed soon to provide irrigation facilities in 2 lakh acres in Sircilla.
KTR, who represents Sircilla constituency in Assembly, on Monday inspected the Kaleshwaram Project related works in Malkapet of Konarupet mandal of Sircilla district. He enquired about various works from senior officials who accompanied him in the inspection. He directed the officials to ensure early completion of works. He thanked everyone who voluntarily gave up their land for the project. He informed that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao himself gave up his land for the project while his mother gave up her land for Mid-Maner Project.
KTR has praised the engineers and other officials who worked for the Kaleshwaram project. He also directed the officials to resolve the problems being faced by the people who were displaced due to the project.
