Kaleshwaram waters to reach SRSP within week: R&B Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy

Nizamabad: Roads and Buildings Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is making efforts to move Kaleshwaram waters to Sri Ram Sagar Project (SRSP) within a week.

He planted saplings at Sthree Shakti Bhavan at Balkonda mandal headquarters on Monday. Later he inaugurated veterinary building and Panchayat Raj building.

The Minister wished all the Muslim brethren on Bakrid festival. Later, he said the construction of Kaleshwaram project is an adventurous activity, which was completed in two years with Rs 1,700 crores. Stating that Bangaru Telangana is possible only with the development of women, he demanded for allotting a revolving fund of Rs 3 crores to women, which should be invested in manufacturing sector. He observed that wealth increases only through in manufacturing sector. He gave a call to the women to become productive forces.
