Kalavakuntla Kavitha skips ED inquiry, send representative and writes to agency
Amidst high drama, BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha skipped appearing before Enforcement Directorate ED and instead sent her representative with the documents sought by the probe agency. She said since the ED notice did not specifically mention that she should appear in person she was sending her representative.
She also said that till Supreme Court gives its verdict, ED should take up the probe. They should wait for the court verdict.
The BRS MLC has also sent a letter written to Enforcement Directorate with her representative Bharat asking the investigative agency to wait until the honourable Supreme Court deliver its verdict in the writ petition filed by her seeking to give directions to the ED to probe her at her residence citing she is a woman.
Kalvakuntla Kavitha said that she had handed over all the documents in the inquiry held on March 11 and will fully cooperate with the agency as well. She also said that ED has asked her to attend inquiry citing that she has to be inquired in confrontation with the other accused and clarified that no such thing has happened on March 11.
