Kalyana Lakshmi cheques distributed in Nalgonda
Nakrekal (Nalgonda): Nakrekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah stated that the government was taking all measures for the welfare of poor in the State. On Tuesday, he distributed Rs 6 lakh worth Kalyana Lakshmi cheques to beneficiaries and also participated in Haritha Haram programme held at Inpamula village of Ketepally mandal in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, Lingaiah said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been playing the role of an elder brother and helping the girls of poor families during their weddings by providing aid under Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes.
He urged the villagers to plant and protect as many as saplings as possible and restore the lost glory to villages and transform every village as green village to reduce pollution.
Local officials, local body representatives, party leaders and villagers participated in the programmes.
