Kamareddy: Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanthi celebrated
Kamareddy: Jukkal MPP Yashoda Neelu Patil and ZPTC Lakshmi Bai Dadarao Patil said that Chhatrapati Shivaji has brought the rights of Shudras back into the country and everyone should be inspired by his adventure. On Wednesday, Chhatrapati Shivaji's 390th Jayanti celebrations were held in Jukkal constituency.
Village sarpanch Yadav, former sarpanch Rajappa and villagers celebrated Shivaji's birth anniversary at Bijjal Wadi village in Jukkal mandal. Officials and people of Jukkal, Madnur, Dongli and Bichkunda mandals paid tributes to Shivaji's statue, led by Bajrang Dal and Shivaji Youth at headquarters.
MPP Yashoda Neelu Patil said that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj sacrificed his life for awakening the Hindu society and called everyone to take him as ideal.
Later, Jukkal MPP Yashoda's husband Neelu Patil said that Chhatrapati had learned martial arts from
an early age. He was crowned Chhatrapati on June 16, 1674. Shivaji said that Sudras should have the right to hold and gave them the right to
take up arms and gave key positions in the army.
Jukkal former ZPTC Madhav Rao Desai, Mohammedabad village sarpanch El Sai, Bajrang Dal members, School Principal Hanmanth and others participated in the celebrations.
