Kamareddy: ICDS Madnoor project union president Champabai demanded the government not to close Anganwadi centres

Jukkal (Kamareddy): ICDS Madnoor project union president Champabai and general secretary R Anasuya demanded the government not to conspire to close down anganwadi centres. Members of Anganwadi centres, led by CITU leaders, staged a protest across Kamareddy district on Tuesday. They warned of launching a massive rebellion if the government takes back its idea of closing the centres. They submitted a memorandum to the tahsildar.

Anganwadi teachers from Pedda Kodapagal, Jukkal, Bichkunda and Madnur Mandals, CITU convenor Suresh Gonda, SFI district vice-president Bal, Jukkal Hanmawwa, Sayawwa, Kodapagal, Vijaya, Vanaja, Madnoor Manojama, Sujatha and others were present on the occasion.
