Kamareddy: Work like a team to develop district

Kamareddy: Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy gave a call to all to work together as a team from sarpanch to Zilla Parishad chairman for the development of the district.

Kamareddy District Collector N Satyanarayana on Friday administered oath to Dafedar Shobha as the ZP chairperson and Prem Kumar as vice-chairman. 22 ZPTC co-option members also tool oath of office. Along with Speaker Pocharam, R&B Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy, MLAs Gampa Govardhan, Hanmant Shinde and Jajula Surender attended the programme.

Later addressing the new team, Pocharam Srinivas Reddy said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has reorganised the districts for easy administration. D Shobha's name will be there forever in the history as the first ZP chairperson in the district, he added.

Transport and R&B Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy said Chief Minister KCR is following Gandhi's approach in rural development. Congratulating the new ZPTC chiefs and vice-chiefs, he wished them to grow to become better public figures and sit in the legislative assembly. The Minister assured to strive for the development of the district.
