Karimnagar: ABVP on Saturday alleged that irregularities occurred in B-Pharmacy results that were announced recently by Satavahana University.

The members of the ABVP staged dharna in front of the Satavahana University here in Karimnagar. Speaking on the occasion, district convenor of ABVP Chikkula Kiran alleged that the evaluation of papers of B-Pharmacy students of Satavahana University was not done properly.

Intentionally, the professors allotted less marks to students and failed them. Many intelligent students who were expecting high marks have failed in the subjects while some of other students who were irregular to the colleges scored more marks, he added.

Due to irregularities that occurred in evaluation of papers, the future of many students pursuing B Pharmacy is dark. Earlier too, the university officials did the same mistakes and are not mending their ways, he criticised.

Even after giving several representations about the irregularities that are taking place in the university, the officials are turning blind eyes and not taking any action, he pointed out. He demanded the university officials to initiate an inquiry and take immediate action against the responsible persons along with doing justice to the B Pharmacy students.
