Karimnagar doctor elected as chief of IPSSZ
Nizamabad: Dr Kishan, the president of South Indian Association of Psychiatrists, said that Indian values, yoga and spirituality will be discussed at the World Mental Conference to be held in Israel in December.
Dr Kishan, a senior psychiatrist from Karimngar, was unanimously elected as the president of Indian Psychiatric Society South Zone (IPSSZ) in the elections held in Coorg town of Karnataka. Dr Akula Vishal and Dr George Reddy had been elected to Indian Psychiatric Society South Zone (South India branch) from Telangana State.
Speaking to the media in Nizamabad on Tuesday, President of Telangana State Psychiatric Association Dr Mayur Nath Reddy and treasurer Dr Vishal said that the psychiatrists of southern States of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka will meet and the country's merits are to be spread around the world. 'We have decided to explain our great concept of Vasudhaika Kutumbakam to all,' they added.
