Karimnagar : File cases against Inter board for compensation

Karimnagar: The District Consumer Council has advised the Inter students and their parents demand compensation from Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education for the mental agony they have undergone because of the goof-ups in the exam results announced recently.

In a press release issued here on Tuesday, it said that the Inter students can approach the Consumer Forum for getting compensation from the Intermediate Board for the pain they had undergone due to lapses in the exams, according to Karimnagar Consumer Council.

The council appealed to the parents of Inter students to file cases against the Board.There is no fee up to Rs 5 lakh and they can seek guidance from the District Forum, said Naredla Srinvas, R Chandra Prakash , Gortiyal Manoher, K Ramchadrareddy, Raguram, V Laxmankumar Mujfur, Nagamohan and Rajireddy of Karimnagar Consumer Council. In the past also several universities, Senior Secondary Boards were imposed penalty due to the issue of wrong memos to students, they said.

The legal heirs of deceased students can also approach the forum in the case of wrong memo, the council advised parents.
