Karimnagar: Rajanna temple hundi nets Rs 1.25 crore

Karimnagar: The authorities of Sri Raja Rajeswara Swamy Temple in Vemulawada conducted hundi counting here on Tuesday. After conducting the three-day Maha Sivaratri jatara successfully from February 20 to 22, the authorities had taken up the counting of hundi collections.

It is to be noted that around 2 lakh devotees thronged the Vemulawada temple to celebrate Maha Sivaratri. The temple staff along with 600 members of Sathya Sai Seva Samiti participated in the hundi counting. About Rs 1,25,35,560 income was generated through hundi collections, including 291 grams of gold and 14 kgs of silver ornaments from the past 13 days.
