Karimnagar: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) district president Ambati Joji Reddy on Tuesday criticized Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for inviting his Andhra Pradesh counterpart YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the inauguration of Kaleshwaram Project.

Speaking at a press meet at the party office in Karimnagar, Ambati Joji Reddy alleged that YS Jagan conducted dharnas in Kurnool district in the past to stop the construction of Kaleshwaram Project by the Telangana government. Now how KCR can invite Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is dead against Telangana State? Does KCR forgot that he fought against them alleging that they grabbed water, funds and jobs of Telangana people? Apart from that what is the use of inaugurating such projects which do not have water, he questioned.

"Only to divert the attention of people and to cover his mistakes, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is doing all this drama. He is trying to cheat Telangana people, who voted him to power for the second time," Joji Reddy pointed out.

It is the Maharashtra government, which is creating hurdles and opposed the Pranahita-Chevalla project. Forgetting this, the CM is inviting Maharashtra Chief Minister for the inauguration of Kaleshwaram project. People of Telangana are watching every move of the TRS and KCR and are ready to teach a fitting lesson in coming up days, Joji Reddy warned.
