Karimnagar: TNSF demands probe on irregularities in teacher transfers
Karimnagar: The members of Telugu Nadu Student Federation (TNSF) demanded the government to probe an inquiry on the irregularities that took place in teacher transfers during 2015.
TNSF members submitted a memorandum to District Revenue Officer Praveenya at her office in Karimnagar on Monday and requested her to take immediate action against the persons involved in these irregularities.
Speaking on the occasion, TNSF State general secretary P Ravinder alleged that irregularities occurred in the transfers of teachers during 2015 in Huzurabad mandal of Karimnagar district. As per rules, a teacher should be transferred for every eight years, but transfers were done against the rules and guidelines issued by the government and the officials tried to misguide the government, he alleged. Ravinder requested DRO Praveenya to probe an inquiry into the transfers of teachers that occurred in 2015 in Huzurabad mandal and take action against the responsible persons.
TNSF district president Tekula Shravan, leaders Pedyala Rajesh, Suresh and Anil were present along with others.
