Karimnagar: Vajpayee won people's hearts with politeness
Karimnagar: Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is one of the greatest leaders the country had produced, and he had won the hearts of the people from Kanyakumari to Kashmir with his better services to the nation, stated Karimnagar MP and BJP official spokesperson Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
BJP leaders paid rich tributes by garlanding the photo of Vajpayee on his first death anniversary, at BJP office in Karimnagar on Friday.
MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar said the former Prime Minister Atalji, who won the Bharat Ratna and best Parliamentarian awards, led his life giving much importance to moral values. In the meeting that was held in 1980, Atalji, who had given a wonderful speech stating that 'darkness will go, sun will rise and flower will blossom one day' had come into reality with the BJP coming to power two consecutive times with bumper majority, he said.
'Atalji was committed to nationalism and had given slogan of one nation, one people and one act opposing Article 370 during his period. Following his footsteps, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been implementing various schemes with the slogan of 'Sab ka sath and sabka vikas' for the betterment of all sections of people.' The youth of present generation must learn much from such great personalities, Sanjay Kumar advised.
