Karne: BJP daydreaming of coming to power in State

Hyderabad: Taking exception to the criticism of government by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Government Whip in Council Karne Prabhakar on Tuesday questioned whether the BJP ruled State had better schemes than Telangana.

Addressing a press conference here at TRSLP office, Karne Prabhakar alleged that the BJP leaders in Telangana were daydreaming to come to power by telling lies.

He asked whether the BJP ruled States had better schemes than the TRS. About 68 welfare schemes are being implemented in Telangana, the BJP leaders should implement them in their States if they have guts, he challenged.

The TRS leader also criticised the BJP leaders for family rule jibe at TRS. Why the BJP is having tie-up with family parties in Punjab (Akali Dal) and in Maharashtra (Shiv Sena), he asked.

The TRS leader said that government is implementing Aarogyasri in Telangana because it benefits more people whereas Ayushman Bharat benefits only 25 per cent of the population of the State.

Replying to a question, Prabhakar said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at an appropriate time.

He stated that the chief minister has met Prime Minister during December 2018 and gave a memorandum with 16 issues. "If the BJP leaders have confidence on their campaign, they should contest in Huzurnagar and they will get to know what reality is," said Prabhakar. He said CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka talked all lies in the Assembly.
