Kattangur mandal VRO commits suicide

Kattangur (Nalgonda): Village Revenue Officer of Parada village of Kattangur mandal Panga Krishnaiah has allegedly committed suicide by consuming pesticide in his agriculture land located at Nemmani village of Naketpally mandal in the district on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, CPM Kattangur mandal party president Gali Narasimha in a press statement demanded that government rescue the bereaved family members by paying compensation.

He stated that VRO Narasimha has been working as VRO in Kattangur mandal for the last four years and was forced to take extreme step due to ruling party leaders pressurising him to favour them illegally in connection with already sold lands.

The CPM leaders demanded District Collector and RDO of Nalgonda to conduct a probe on VRO's suicide and take stringent action against the culprits.
