KCR accused of trying to hoodwink people
Hanamkonda: The TRS has achieved nothing even though it had 15 MPs on its side during the 16th Lok Sabha, the Congress leaders said.
Addressing the leaders of Warangal West constituency here on Wednesday, the DCC president N Rajender Reddy criticised the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for bulldozing the Opposition parties.
"By hook or crook, KCR wants all the MLAs on his side. Either he terrorised or influenced the MLAs of other parties to defect to his TRS," Reddy alleged.
Referring to tribal university and Bayyaram steel plant, he said that TRS totally failed to exert pressure on Central government even though the latter had ignored the assurances given
to Telangana under AP Reorganisation Act.
Warangal Parliamentary constituency in-charge and Bhupalpally MLA G Venkat Ramana Reddy said KCR is trying to hoodwink the people once again.
"Even though the TRS had a sizable number of MPs in the previous Parliament, KCR had achieved nothing for the State.
Now KCR says that he will be the king maker if his party wins 16 Lok Sabha seats," he said.
He appealed to cadre to work hard to ensure the victory of Warangal Lok Sabha candidate Dommati Sambaiah.
Senior leaders Katla Srinivas Rao, EV Srinivas Rao, Bathini Srinivas Rao and Dr Puli Anil Kumar were among others present.
