KCR appoints party incharge for Mayor polls in Warangal

Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) started preparations for the election of Warangal Mayor on Tuesday.

The TRS appointed party general secretary and TSIIC Chairman G Balamalluas party incharge for the polls. G Balamallu will submit a report after holding discussions with the leaders in the district.

Chief Minister and TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao on Tuesday appointed Balamallu as the election in charge for the mayor election in Warangal. The partyinitiated steps to identify suitable person for the post of Mayor as the present Mayor N Narender contested and won the Assembly election from Warangal East. The Warangal mayor elections would be held on April 27.

Balamallu would be talking to all the leaders including seniors and corporators in the district and would give a report to the party chief, said TRS working president K T Rama Rao in a statement issued to the press on Tuesday. Both the TRS working president and the TSIIC chairman had discussions on different issues. Balamallu said that he would talk and take opinions of all and would try to bring consensus on one candidate.
