KCR awaits meeting with PM Modi
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is waiting for the appointment to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, however, the PMO yet to confirm the time.
After attending the dinner hosted by India President Ram Nath Kovind for his American counterpart Donald Trump on Tuesday night, the KCR stayed in the national capital to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The central authorities are busy dealing with the Delhi riots issue.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister on Wednesday called on Union Minister of Environment, Forests and Climate Change Prakash Javadekar at the latter's office in New Delhi. Source said that KCR meeting with the Union Minister was only a courtesy call.
TRS senior leader and MP K Keshava Rao and other MPs also accompanied KCR.
The CM is likely to return Hyderabad late night or Thursday, sources said.
