KCR backed Modi's Gabbar Singh Tax: Rahul Gandhi

AICC chief Rahul Gandhi took a dig at TRS supremo and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for supporting prime minister Narendra Modi's demonetisation and Gabbar Singh Tax. Speaking at Zaheerabad public meeting, Rahul said that the TRS MPs backed the policies of Modi.

He also wondered as to why KCR remained tight-lipped on Rafael scam. Has KCR ever said 'chowkidar chor hai'? Rahul questioned. TRS leaders became puppets in the hands of Modi, they pretend to fight the BJP, but the only the Congress is doing it, Rahul added.

Rahul Gandhi also criticised Narendra Modi that the latter wants to divide India into two groups -- richest on one side and farmers, unemployed youth on the other.

"Narendra Modi conducted surgical strikes on poor people, but the Congress will conduct surgical strikes on poverty," said the AICC chief.
