KCR for Delhi today to dine with Trump

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will leave for New Delhi on Tuesday morning to attend the dinner hosted by President Ram Nath Kovind to the US President Donald Trump on the same day at night in the national capital. Trump is on two-day India visit from Monday.

KCR accompanied by a few top state government officials will fly off to Delhi in the morning and stay at Telangana Bhavan. Officials said that the Chief Minister also sought the appointment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Wednesday.

KCR is planning to apprise the Prime Minister of the pending State issues mainly the release of State's due share in the GST, Central assistance for State's flagship programmes like Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha and pending bifurcation issues.

Sources said that KCR's meeting with some union ministers is also in the pipeline. However, it is yet to be confirmed.
