KCR gets invite to HT Leadership Summit
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has been invited by the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit Meet to be held at Singapore on September 6, 2019.
CM KCR has been invited by the Chair Person and Editorial Director of HT Media Limited Shobhana Bhartia to participate in the summit as a distinguished speaker at the second edition of the HT-Mint Asia Leadership Summit to be held in Singapore.
According to the contents of the letter, the Indian chapter of the summit-HT Leadership Summit-was launched in India in 2003, as part of HT mission to enhance the level of discussion on pressing issues facing India, its neighbours and the world. According to the Chair Person, the last sixteen summits have been outstanding successes and have had speakers of eminence, including President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Barack Obama, President George Bush, Dalai Lama, David Cameron and Gordon Brown.
It is mentioned in the letter that this year's summit is the landmark edition of the Singapore Chapter and the effort is to bring together leaders from Asia discuss and ideate a road map ahead for the region and shed light on the rising role of "Asia in the New Global Context", which is the theme for this year.
