KCR inaugurates modern residential quarters for MLAs
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao inaugurated the new residential complex with ultra-modern facilities for legislators, their personal assistants and staff in the city on Monday.
The Legislators' residential complex at Hyderguda was inaugurated in the presence of Assembly Speaker P Srinivas Reddy, Ministers, including Legislative Affairs Minister V Prashanth Reddy, Mahmood Ali and A Indrakaran Reddy.
Built at a cost of Rs 166 crore, the Legislators' complex was constructed on an area of 4.26 acres. The Legislators' Hostel Block comprises 120 flats each admeasuring 2,500 sq ft. The 12-storeyed buildings have five blocks and each block has ten flats.
Each flat has one master bedroom, children's bedroom, office, kitchen and storeroom.
Besides, 120 flats were constructed each admeasuring 325 sq ft for personal assistants. Another 36 flats were constructed in 1,000 sq ft for servants. A special block on 1.25 lakh sq ft was constructed for IT and basic facilities.
There are eight lifts and parking space for 276 cars. The complex also has a security office.
In the ground floor, the complex has 23 special rooms for meeting visitors. It has a club house, exercise room and a supermarket.
