KCR, Jagan to work together to resolve issues
Hyderabad: Telangana Health Minister Eatala Rajendar and Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister B Rajendranath Reddy on Friday said the two Telugu States Chief Ministers K Chandrashekar Rao and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy have arrived at a decision to resolve all issues mainly water sharing disputes and other pending bifurcation related issues amicably.
Speaking to the media after the first official meeting between the two Chief Minister at K Chandrashekar Rao's official residence Pragati Bhavan here, the two Ministers said the two States will adopt give and take policy in addressing the issues.
Jagan and Chandrashekar Rao called to end the friction and shed all differences that were witnessed between the two States during former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's regime. The two Chief Minister's wanted to be role model in the country by developing the States with mutual cooperation in all sectors in the future, the Ministers said the Chief Minister's meeting asserted to bring in a qualitative change in the two States by maintaining cordial relations.
AP Minister said it is a historical day for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh as no other Chief Minister in the country held such a daylong meeting to sort out the issues between the two States.
The officials level talks will be held on Saturday to address the repatriation of employees and division of assets under the AP Reorganisation Act.
