KCR Kick Starts Day Long Collectors Conference

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao kick started a daylong conference with all district Collectors at Pragati Bhavan today. The main issues including the ongoing RTC workers dharna and the progress in the implementation of 30 day action plan launched to strengthen infrastructure in all Gram Panchayats in September first week will be discussed in the meeting.

District and Divisional Panchyat Raj officials also participated in the meeting.

Collectors were already instructed to present a detailed report on the status of 30 day action plan. The chief minister will also review pending issues mainly the finalisation of the list of beneficiaries of Aasara pension scheme under which the age limit has been reduced to 57 from 65 from this year. The government announced to extend the scheme to poor individuals who are above 57 age from August this year but the authorities are still grappling with finalisation of the beneficiaries list due to various reasons. .
