KCR pats Indian economist for winning Nobel prize

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao congratulated the Kolkata born Indian-American economist Abhijit Banerjee, who has been awarded the prestigious 2019 Nobel Prize for Economics, along with his wife and another fellow economist.

He was awarded "for the experimental approach to alleviating global poverty".
