Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is likely to embark on district tours from September to address the problems being faced by local communities and fulfil the promises made by him at the time of Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

The CM is likely to resolve the tribal problems in the agency districts of Adilabad, Khammam and Warangal.

He is also likely to address the pending issues related to ownership of lands, distribution of title deeds to the farmers and welfare and education during the meetings he will have with locals in the presence of officials.

Sources told The Hans India that the Chief Minister wants to take the administration to the doorsteps of the people. Since the municipal elections would be over in August, KCR feels that he should go to the people and not only study their problems but should also provide solutions there itself.

KCR has directed the officials to give him necessary reports from each district on pending issues. The Collectors were instructed to prepare detailed reports on the developmental activities and status of the various programmes in their districts, requirement of funds and development works pending since December 2018.

Sources further said that KCR wanted to seek first-hand information on the implementation of the schemes at ground level. During the visit, he will interact with locals and people's representatives and redress their grievances instantly.

"Before going on district tour, KCR is likely to visit his native village Chintamadaka in Siddipet district where he will inaugurate several developmental programmes.

In fact, he is keen to visit this village in July itself. After the visit to his village, the Chief Minister will hold a meeting with important officials and explain to them the importance of adoption of specific development model for every village," which could be emulated in other villages.

During his district visit, the CM will inaugurate the educational institutions, new mandal offices, zilla parishad complexes and integrated district collectorates and two-bedroom houses for the poor which are getting ready for inauguration.

Special meetings are being organised with tribals in the agency districts to sort out the forest land ownership and the tussle that has been on among the tribals on land rights.

During the election campaign, KCR made the promise of addressing all tribal issues in Adilabad and other agency dominated districts.
