KCR reacts to media to display his pictures on RTC buses

Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao objected to Telangana State Road Transport Corporation's request to display his photos on the TSRTC Cargo buses.

Reacting to some media reports, the chief minister clarified on Tuesday that his aim was to see that the TSRTC is making profits by carrying cargo through its buses and he has no intention of getting any publicity from it.

The chief minister made it clear to the concerned officials that services should be rendered to the people through the implementation of several programs and schemes and his intention was not to obtain any cheap advertising. "This proposal is not at all agreeable by him," says a press release issued by the Chief Minister's Office.

Special Secretary P Rajsekhar Reddy sent a notice to the TSRTC MD stressing the opinion of the CM and clearly indicating that the photograph of the CM should not be shown on the TSRTC Cargo Buses at all costs.
