The attire in a new style with Kanduva grabbed the attention of all sections in Telangana. Many people are already adopting the new style y wearing Sella with different shades of lining in blue, green, pink and red.

The sales of Sella also have gone up and the weavers community said they owed it to KCR for reviving the tradition of wearing Kanduva. Telengana Weavers Welfare Association leader Dasu Suresh said that the weavers community in Siricilla were receiving bulk orders for the ethnic wear Kanduva which has become trending into daily wear.

KTR is also promoting "Pochampally masks" produced by weavers which is also a good sign to promote the products of weavers in the crisis time. KTR was seen wearing the colourful hand made mask in the recently held official meetings.

State Handloom department was already identifying the business potential to promote Sella and Pochampally masks so that weavers earn more money.
