KCR vows to resolve problems of Singareni workers

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has made it clear that the government is ready to solve all problems of the Singareni workers.

The Chief Minister has instructed Singareni CMD Sridhar to convene a special meeting with MPs, MLAs and MLCs from Singareni area, discuss all the matters threadbare and suggest solutions. The CM held a meeting in his Chambers in the Legislative Assembly here on Wednesday with Singareni region MLAs Balka Suman, Gandra Venkatramana Reddy, Divakar Rao, Vanama Venkateswarlu, Durgam Chinnaiah, Sandra Venkata Veeranna, Rega Kantha Rao, Hari Priya and Korukanti Chander. Singareni CMD Sridhar, CM Principal Secretary S Narsing Rao also participated in the meeting.

The Singareni area MLAs brought to the notice of the CM about the problems faced by the workers. KCR assured them that all the problems would be solved. The MLAs urged the CM that as was done every year, for the financial year 2018-19 too, workers should be given a share in the profits of the company. For this, the CM has responded positively. KCR assured that he would make a statement in the Legislative Assembly on Thursday on the amount of profits to be paid among the Singareni workers.
