Khammam: Congress Legislative Party leader Bhatti Vikramarka fired salvos against the government here on Sunday. He alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's downfall started from Khammam district.

He recalled that Khammam district played an important role during Statehood movement and gave power to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). He said death of driver Srinivas Reddy is an example of how State is under the rule of dictator leader.

Before he met JAC leaders and RTC workers in bus depot at Khammam town, he expressed solidarity with the ongoing RTC strike. He paid tributes to Srinivas Reddy. He said it was an unfortunate incident in the district. He also recalled how the RTC workers worked in Sakala Janula Samme.

He alleged that with an intention to make profits for his family members, the Chief Minister is planning to turn RTC into a private sector in the State. He called all the party workers to participate in the erstwhile district bandh on Monday. Bhatti said the Congress party candidate will win with good majority in Huzurnagar.
