Keep away from drug abuse, principal advises students in Nalgonda

Nalgonda: On the occasion of International Anti Drugs Day, principal of St Alphonsus High School George Joseph flagged off the awareness rally in Nalgonda town on Wednesday .

Speaking on the occasion, he explained the evil effects of drugs and advised the students to keep themselves away from such bad habits as it spoils them both physically and psychologically.

Once addicted, students cannot come out of its influence as it deteriorates their mind and body gradually.

There were many instances of drug addicts committing suicide. Many accidents and untoward incidents have taken place under its influence. Further he advised teachers and parents to provide counseling to children in this regard consistently.

As many as 400 students and teachers of Saint Alphonsus School took part in the rally with placards
