Kendriya Vidyalaya inaugurated in Nizamabad
Nizamabad: MP Dharmapuri Arvind assured that all facilities will be provided in Central (Kendriya) Schools to be constructed in Nizamabad.
Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Friday inaugurated five new Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) and 13 Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs), besides a National Navodaya Leadership Institute, through videoconferencing from New Delhi.
The minister also laid the foundation stone for nine new JNVs and 13 new KVs.
The MP said that KV has been constructed at a cost of Rs 21 crores at Khila here, where he attended as a chief guest of the inauguration programme. He said Kendriya Vidyalaya means quality education and there will be training in cultural and sports disciplines. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank for allotting KV to Nizamabad district.
He also thanked the district administration for setting up this educational institution and allocating ten acres of land in the city centre for the building.
