Khammam: Cancel GO 239, scribes demand government

Khammam: Members of the Telangana State Union of Working Journalists (TUWJ), affiliated to Indian Journalists Union, submitted a memorandum to District Collector RV Karnan demanding redressal of their grievances, at the Collectorate office in Khammam on Monday.

Before the submitting the memorandum, the Union representatives conducted a meeting at Roads and Buildings Guest House. Speaking on the occasion, they demanded the government to cancel GO 239 immediately besides demanding appointment of a regular District Public Relation Officer in Khammam for smooth administration.

They also appealed to the government to clear issues pertaining to accreditation cards in the State.

Union representatives Ramnarayana, Y Venkateswarlu, Ravindra Seshu, Narvaneni Venkat Rao, T Murali Krishna, A Srinivas, Janardhana Chary, Mohiuddin, Madhav, RK Srinivas, Appa Rao and Sudhakar were part of the team that met the Collector.
