Khammam Collector, RTC Depot Manager review bus services

Khammam: District Collector RV Karnan informed on Monday that nearly 91 percent of bus services were being provided in the district.

The Collector, RTC Regional Manager Krishna Murthy and Transport Officer Krishna Reddy participated in a video conference conducted by Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar from Hyderabad.

During the conference, the Collector explained the situation to the Minister and added that they were making plans for providing cent percent services in the depots of Khammam, Madhira and Sathupally.

The Collector added that ticket machines were issued to the hired conductors at the allotted depots.

Minister Ajay Kumar, Transport department Principal Secretary Sunil Sharma and Commissioner of Transport Sandeep Kumar Sultania stated that every officer should strive to improve the income of the RTC.

They said Collectors, RTA officers and Depot Managers must play a key role in providing cent per cent services in all areas.
