Addressing the media later, Durga Prasad alleged that the ruling TRS government was not paying attention towards solving people issues. He said though people in villages have been suffering from fevers and seasonal diseases, the government was not bothered to conduct medical camps in the affected villages.

He demanded the State government to immediately conduct health camps and provide medicines for free. Stating that the students were facing hardships due to lack of proper facilities, they urged the government to sanction funds for the construction of new school building. They informed that Congress party would take up protest if government failed to solve the said issues.
